Welcome to IL-HPCO

IL-HPCO's mission is to promote hospice as optimum healthcare at the end of life.

IL-HPCO educates the public and healthcare providers about the value of hospice in regards to end-of-life care issues in the state of Illinois.

Founded in 1980, the Illinois Hospice and Palliative Care Organization is committed to improving end-of-life care and expanding access to hospice care with the goal of profoundly enhancing quality of life for people dying in Illinois and their loved ones.

IL-HPCO's membership represents both rural and urban hospices. Hospice programs range from small, community-based programs serving 3-5 patients daily to large urban programs providing services for more than 800 patients daily, in multiple locations.
