The purpose of the Illinois Hospice-Veteran Partnership is to form a statewide
coalition to provide leadership, technical assistance, and recommendations
for program development. HVP goals include:
Strengthening the relationships between community hospice agencies
and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) facilities
- Improving veterans' access to hospice and palliative care across all sites
and levels of care and
- Educating veterans about end-of-life care.
